Originally, this poem wasn't even supposed to be here, or even have been concieved, but I was writing something for a profile of mine, to give people a taste of my writing, and this sparked up. Enjoy.
Profile of a Saturday
Waking up on Saturday,
Is alike to waking up from some venture
Into swampy territory, during the
Night, after Friday blows a kiss
And leaves on a canoe,
For a weekly trip,
Not forgetting to take an edition
Of the daily newspaper,
As it departures, the wooden thing
Dividing the surface of the water,
And I stumble out of bed,
Shaken by the night,
Looking for my newspaper,
And not finding it.

I think this is what poetry is all about!Just talking out what you feel! Beautiful!
